On March 7, 2019, Knox County recorded the purchase of 105 Nixon Rd. and 7116 Chapman Highway by Boyd Hollow Resorts. The new parcels purchased run between the existing parcels and Chapman Highway. Company principal Tom Boyd mentioned to a member of Keep the Urban Wilderness Peaceful that he intends to plant gardens on this parcel, something we would be happy to see. However, the corporation Boyd Hollow Resorts has made no announcements regarding the new purchase, nor is it included in the current Sector Plan Amendment and Zoning Change application.

The Chapman Highway parcel makes up 1.5 acres and is zoned Commercial. A small portion of the Nixon Road parcel that borders Chapman Highway is currently zoned Multifamily Residential, but the vast majority of it is Agricultural.
