Keep the Urban Wilderness Peaceful is a grassroots group of neighbors, friends and supporters of South Knoxville. We are committed to protecting and maintaining the integrity of our agriculturally zoned residential community. South Knoxville has the unique, nationally recognized Urban Wilderness and protected Brown Mountain Ridge. We believe that it is our duty to protect this area and the wildlife that resides here with us.
Keep the Urban Wilderness Peaceful promotes sustainable economic development compatible with designated zoned land use as outlined in the South Sector Plan and zoning regulations.
